How to Take Care of Your Acne Prone Skin? Bagaimana Merawat Wajah Berjerawat Anda?

I believe that many people around us might have this same kind of problem, acne~! I'm thankful that I don't really have this serious kind of acne problem, though I might have a little one or two during "that" period of time. Since I've seen how worse an acne problem can be and how annoying it can be and how many damage it can do to your face. But you won't have to worry, as these few tips below might be able to help you~!

Aku sangat berterima kasih karena engga dilahirkan dengan wajah berjerawat walaupun terkadang aku memiliki sedikit 1~2 jerawat yang timbul di periode "itu". Aku sering melihat bagaimana problem jerawat bisa memburuk dan bagaimana ia bisa timbul menjadi super menyebalkan dan bisa merusak wajah anda. Namun, anda tidak perlu khawatir, karena beberapa tip di bawah ini mungkin bisa membantu anda~!

1. Get an Early Sleep / Tidur Lebih Awal~
Based on some studies, if you sleep late, it can increase your stress level by 14% compare to normal. But what does stress got to do with acne? Increase in stress will increase the production of glucocorticoid which will lead to abnormalities in skin, and make your acne problems turn worse. Therefore go to bed early and have some quality sleep definitely can work some magic to your acne problem.

Berdasarkan beberapa studi, bila anda tidur malam, itu dapat meningkatkan ketingkatan stress anda sebanyak 14% dibandingkan normalnya. Tetapi apa hubungan antara stress dengan masalah jerawat? Ternyata peningkatan stress dapat memicu peningkatan dalam produksi glucocosticoid yang kemudian akan mengakibatkan keabnormalan pada kulit, sehingga membuat masalah jerawat anda menjadi lebih parah. Oleh karena itu, tidur lebih awal bisa memberikan bantuan untuk masalah jerawat anda.

2. Maintain Your Blood Sugar / Jaga Tingkat Gula Darah Anda

Control your diet by maintaining your blood sugar level. The rapid increment in your blood sugar will trigger a rapid boost in your insulin as well, where it will increase the production of pore clogging cells and oil glands, and this all can lead to a worse case of acne problems.

Jagalah pola makan anda dengan menjaga kestabilan gula darah anda. Peningkatan tiba-tiba dalam gula darah anda bisa mengakibatkan peningkatan mendadak pada sel insulin anda, yang kemudian akan meningkatkan produksi sel-sel yang bisa membuat pori-pori tersumbat, serta peningkatan dalam kelenjar minyak di wajah anda, dan ini semua bisa memperburuk masalah jerawat anda.

3. Get Exercises / Berolahraga Secara Teratur

Exercising can help skin by increasing blood circulation, as it will sends more oxygen to your skin cells and carries useless cells away. But remember that sweats can cause acne so remember to shower after exercising. =D

Berolahraga secara teratur bisa membantu kulit dengan meningkatkan sirkulasi darah yang bisa menghantarkan lebih banyak oksigen ke sel kulit anda, yang sekaligus bisa membantu membuang sel-sel tidak berguna. Tetapi ingat~ bahwa berkeringat bisa memperburuk masalah jerawat anda, oleh karena itu ingat untuk mandi sesudah berolahraga~!

4. Fall in Love with Omega 3-Fatty Acids / Jatuh Cinta pada Omega 3

Omega 3 Fatty Acids can control the production of leukotriene B4, a molecule which can increase sebum and cause inflammatory acne. Foods which are rich in Omega 3 Fatty Acids are walnuts, flaxseed, salmon, avocados, etc.

Omega 3 ini bisa mengontrol tingkat produksi dari leukotriene B4, molekul yang bisa mengakibatkan peningkatan minyak dan bahkan mengakibatkan jerawat super parah yang disertai peradangan (jerawat merah yang gede-gede biasanya). Makanan yang kaya akan omega 3 ini ternyata engga cuma bisa ditemukan di salmon ato jenis ikan-ikanan, tetapi juga bisa ditemui di walnut, flaxseed, alpukat, dsb.

5. Don't touch too much cell phone~! / Jangan Terlalu Sering Memegang Telepon~!

For those smartphone lovers who can't get your eyes away from your phone even just for a second, you might want to reconsider your bad habit~! When we touch our phone, we're transferring the germs in our hand to the phone, and from our face to the phone during a phone call or vice versa. But, what's worse is that the heat on your hand phone can cause the germs and bacteria to multiply faster. Therefore don't touch too much of your phone and keep the cleanness of our own phone.

Buat kalian penggemar smartphone yang terlalu tergila-gila sampai tidak bisa menolehkan kepala kalian dari handphone bahkan hanya untuk 1 detik saja, anda mungkin ingin mempertimbangkan ulang kebiasaan buruk anda~! Ketika kami memegang telepon, kuman dan bakteri yang ada pada tangan kita berpindah ke telepon dan kuman dari wajah kita berpindah ke layar telepon ketika kita sedang bertelepon, demikian pula sebaliknya. Namun, yang lebih parah lagi adalah ternyata panas dari si smartphone ini bisa meningkatkan dan mempercepat proses pengembangbiakkan kuman dan bakteri. Sehingga, jangan terlalu sering memegang telepon anda atau setidaknya jaga kebersihan telepon kalian~!
